APS Law is the online course app of APS Judicial Academy. This page explains what information the app keeps about students and why.
What we keep
- Enrolment details: your name, phone number and email address, and the subjects and dates of your access, entered by APS Judicial Academy when you enrol.
- Google sign-in: when you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email address and name, only to check that you are an enrolled student. We never see or store your Google password.
- Sign-ins and devices: the time of each sign-in, the type of device and browser, and the approximate location (country and city) that your internet address indicates.
- Course activity: which lessons you open and finish, and every checkpoint and MCQ answer you give.
Why we keep it
- To open only the subjects you have enrolled for, until your access date.
- To allow one signed-in device at a time and stop the sharing of accounts.
- To show your progress and scores to you and to your teachers at APS Judicial Academy, and to improve the courses.
Your name and phone number appear as a moving watermark on the lesson screen, so that recordings of the course can be traced.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information and do not show advertising. The app runs on Cloudflare (hosting and database), and Google provides the sign-in. They process the information only to run these services.
Cookies
The app uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to recognise your registered device. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it, and your choices
We keep your information while you are enrolled and for as long as APS Judicial Academy needs it for its records. You may ask APS Judicial Academy to correct your details or to delete your account and its data.
Contact
For any question about your data, contact APS Judicial Academy through the contact details you received at enrolment, or the support email shown on the Google sign-in screen of APS Law.
